For those who have purchased (or are considering purchasing) a product from us, here is all the information you need regarding our LED lights warranty policy.
To provide prompt, satisfactory, and reasonable after-sales services, Thetalight provides the following limited product warranty statement to its customer(s) ("Buyer") for all relevant product(s):
Warranty Periods for Light Fixtures:
We, as the manufacturer, guarantee that all Thetalight LED Strips / LED Linear Lights / LED Modules / Aluminum Profiles / Customized LED Lights are free from defects in workmanship and materials for the specified periods below, calculated from the date of shipment:
- Standard LED lighting products meet the certification requirements applied and have a 3-year lifespan (IP65 around 1-2 years). The warranty period starts from the date of shipment from the China port.
Exceptions:
- One year warranty for all assembling accessories.
- Customized products and special warranty requirements will be confirmed through individual agreements.
During the warranty period, if a Thetalight product malfunctions under normal circumstances or exhibits defined defects, Thetalight reserves the right to replace semi-finished parts, components, or repair the defective products at no cost based on the situation. Thetalight will not be liable for any other losses incurred (including installation costs, labor costs, travel costs, etc.).
Upon discovering defective products, missing accessories, or quality issues during the warranty period, customers should submit a request for handling defective products via a technical support form within 7 working days. They must retain the defective products, provide relevant photos, videos, and other supporting materials in writing, and notify their sales representative. Customers should contact their Thetalight representative to obtain a copy of the Technical Support Form. Thetalight will respond to all technical support form claims within 3-10 working days, offering a solution promptly based on the specific situation.
Thetalight specifies that the provided proof must include the following information to undergo verification by Thetalight's quality team:
- A clear picture of the product label showing the order production date.
- Images displaying the defects and installation environment.
- Videos may be requested in certain cases where issues cannot be adequately shown in pictures.
- If necessary, Thetalight may ask for defective products to be returned for further analysis. All related products must be properly packaged in the original or equivalent packaging. Products with improper packaging or visible shipping damage will not be eligible for warranty service. If Thetalight determines that the returned products are not defective as per the defined criteria, the customer will be responsible for all associated fees until final confirmation is provided by Thetalight.
Every complaint must be mutually discussed and confirmed by both the customer and Thetalight.
